Upcoming Firebird Events
On Saturday, October 22nd, the Raleigh Firebirds are hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. The tournament will be held at Edenton Street United Methodists Parking Lot, and will start at 12 PM. This is going to be a lot of fun, and everyone's invited! Make sure to come for some great times and some even greater basketball!
On November 19th, from 11 AM-2 PM, the Raleigh Firebirds will be hosting our 4th Annual Combine for potential players. There are many combines going on throughout The Basketball League, but this combine offers players a chance to play in front of team owner Wade Harris and head coach Bob MacKinnion. Early registration is $99, and spots fill up quickly! If you're a player, don't hesitate to sign up.
On Thursday, December 8th, the Firebirds will host our Annual Holiday Gathering & Season Kickoff Party! Here you'll be able to chat with other Firebird fans, meet players on our roster and in training camp, as well as the Firebirds draft picks. Head Coach Bob MacKinnion and team owner Wade Harris will also be in attendance. The event will go from 6 PM-10 PM, and is located at the Raleigh Beer Garden on Glenwood Avenue. In addition, you'll be able to purchase season tickets and pick up sponsorship packets at this event!
In addition, on the last Friday of every month, the Raleigh Firebirds volunteer as the North Carolina Food Bank. All are welcome, and this is a great opportunity to give back to the local community! While we won't be doing this during December, come join us on October 28th and November 25th! Times, dates, and details are coming soon.
